Until recently I resisted all invitations to become a “friend” to anyone on facebook. I just had no reason to, until I found out that I didn’t get e-mails from anyone anymore because everyone now communicates on fb and not “e-mail”. So I joined. Plus it was the only way to find out for myself what my two kids were up to! Prior to that time I heard about them through other people who, you guessed it, read about them on fb. Not that I have to keep tabs on them, they are grown ups with lives and families of their own, but it’s nice to know what they’re up to.
The next logical step after joining fb was to create a blog. I am retired after 33 years in the same dull and boring profession and needed something to augment my volunteer work as an IT Professional assistant at a local middle school. I’d say I’m a technician but that would give the real techs a bad name, so I just call myself an assistant. I’m happy with that.
I am a Christian married to a wonderful Christian lady who brought four fantastic children and nine exciting grandchildren into my life over seventeen years ago. Just recently we were blessed with our tenth grandchild when my daughter and her husband adopted the most amazing, charming four year old girl you can imagine.
Since I originally wrote this bio, we’ve added two more lovely granddaughters. So now it is “with six kids and twelve grandkids” we have many places on the east coast and Louisiana to vacation for free!
I’ll quit here so as not to bore you with anymore fluff. Thanks for stopping by today and I hope you’ll visit again soon.
